This year's Texas State Conference of Young People in AA is being held in Houston on Halloween Weekend October 29th - 31st at the Crowne Plaza Hotel down by Reliant Center. More information and online registration can be found at the TXSCYPAA XXX website

More information about how you can get involved in next year's Conference will be available soon.

The Theme for HCYPAA XXIII will be "Hi, my name is..." and is scheduled to be held on the weekend of July 30th through August 1st, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.

You can still register online using our online registration form. Hotel rooms for the Conference weekend can be booked by calling the Hyatt at 713-654-1234. The HCYPAA hotel room rate is $89/night, so be sure to tell them that you are with HCYPAA when booking your room to take advantage of this great rate. Help us spread the word by printing out this pre-registration flyer.

The Conference Program is now available with a Conference schedule, room directory and other information.

Self-seeking will slip (and slide) away at Spotts Park at Waugh and Memorial on Saturday, July 17th at 1pm. When you see this bigass slip-n-slide your whole attitude and outlook on life will change! If you have any questions about this event please see the event flier.

Our next Committee Meeting will be held at 4pm on Sunday, April 25th at the Primary Purpose Group.

Show up for all-you-can-eat crawfish, a volleyball tournament, and some fellowship at a park kinda at Barker Cypress and I-10 on Sunday, April 18th starting at about 1pm. Check out the Event Flier for directions and more information.

HCYPAA Photo Scavenger Hunt Extravaganza will be held on Sunday, March 21st. The fun starts at noon at the Spring Branch Club where we will gather and go over the rules etc before heading out on the hunt as teams of 4. Then we'll meet back up at the Spring Branch Club at 4pm to listen to Bob W. with 31 years sharing his experience strength and hope with us while the points are tallied. For more information and for outreach purposes, I am attaching the Event Flier, so be sure to download it, print it out, and spread the word to encourage a good turnout.

Which is the greater sex? Find out at 1pm on Sunday, February 7th at Waugh Park (aka Spotts Park, aka that park on along Memorial at Waugh near downtown) when we will be meeting up for an afternoon of fun and male vs. female games.
