We will be having a Kickball Tournament at Spotts Park at Waugh and Memorial on Sunday, July 5th at 2pm that you may be interested in attending. The 51st International Conference of Young People in AA will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on the weekend of May 21st - May 24th. Also, there are a group of Texan YPAA's that will be presenting a bid at this year's ICYPAA, so we need Houston YPAA's to show up and support the bid to bring ICYPAA back to Texas. Go to www.texasicypaa.org for more information about our ICYPAA bid.

Come down to Galveston for the HCYPAA Beach Party on May 10th starting at 12 noon. There will be hotdogs, volleyball, and some girl is gonna tell her story. Click Here for a flyer with directions and other information. Print the flyer out and take it with you to meetings to outreach this event.

Show up for all-you-can-eat crawfish, volleyball, and maybe even a slip and slide. We are holding this year's Mardi Gras event at a park kinda at Barker Cypress and I-10. We're gonna have a crawfish boil and lots of fun and fellowship. Check out the Event Flier for directions and more information.

HCYPAA will hold its annual New Year's Eve Party down in Webster at the Up The Street Club Cheri K. from Alvin will tell her story at 8pm, then we will have a potluck dinner, followed by an 80's dance to ring in 2009. Admission is $10 at the door, or $8 if you come in 80's clothes.
