Our next Committee Meeting will be held at 4pm on May 27th at the Men's Center. Be sure to bring people to this month's meeting, and if you know someone who normally comes to our meetings, be sure to remind them to come. We especially need good attendance at these last few Committee Meetings because there are still lots of open positions that need to be filled before the Conference. It is also good to invite new people to spread awareness of HCYPAA and help people stay sober.

If you've never been to A Frio Conference, you should give it a try this May. Here is a flier for the Texas Conference of Young People in AA at Neal's Lodges in Concan, TX. There will be lots of AA going on, and it is a good excuse to get out of the city and relax in the country.

HCYPAA will hold its annual Casino Night at the Houston Marriott North at Greenspoint. This is the same hotel where we will be holding our Conference, so you can check it out and book your room early.

We will start the evening off with Dan D. telling his story at 8pm, followed by lots of gambling. There will be Texas Hold'em, Black Jack, and Craps. I am attaching the Event Flier below, so be sure to download it, print it out, and spread the word to encourage a good turnout.

We are having a Dance on Saturday, March 24th at the Spring Branch Club. Those who arrive prior to 8pm will be shocked and awed by the wisdom and experience of expert-speaker Erin B. The dance will begin at 9pm and run until midnight. Look at this flier that I am going to attach below for more information.

If you are one of those people that go to meetings, please print out a copy of the Event Flier and enlighten other meeting-goers. People will not go to this thing if they do not know that it exists. You can be responsible for making someone's Saturday night more magical than it would have otherwise been. Does anyone actually read this stuff?

The next Committee Meeting will be held at 4pm on March 25th at the Men's Center. Please show up and participate in the planning of this year's conference.

We are having a Mardi Gras event on Saturday, February 24th. This event will be held at the Delta Club and will start at 8pm with a speaker meeting, followed by a dance and other activities.

We are going to hopefully have a conference hotel and date nailed down, and we will elect a Mardi Gras Event Chair.

We are having a New Year's Eve Party at the Serenity Club (the Woodlands). We will be having a dance, a poker tournament, and will be lighting some fireworks (bring your own fireworks). The Event begins at 8pm with a speaker meeting featuring Annie L.
